About the books

The books under attack were published by Targum Press and distributed by Feldheim Publishers. As a result of the ban, it became impossible for Targum and Feldheim to continue with these books (although they continue to publish and distribute Rabbi Slifkin's other books). Distribution of the banned books was taken over by Yashar Books. Soon after the ban, all the books sold out.

Mysterious Creatures: Intriguing Torah Enigmans of Natural and Unnatural History is about conflicts between the Talmud and zoology, in the context of strange creatures discussed in the Talmud.
